Message to CF Patients & Caregivers
We're still NOT RESTING until everyone gets the treatments they need!!
This is such an exciting time for medicine- for developments in treatments for Cystic Fibrosis. On July 22, 2019 Vertex submitted a New Drug Application to the US FDA for their Triple Combo regimen which was sent with a priority review request (shortening the standard review timeline from 12 months to 8 months). The Clinical Trials (Phase 3) showed statistically significant improvements in lung function and the community is anxious for this to be available to them ASAP. To many, 8 months is too long but we are thrilled it’s on a fast track.
Stratacuity will not rest until there are treatments for all with CF. We want to generate some activity in the CF community by asking our friends involved in CF research and development to join our #norest campaign to show CF patients and caregivers around the world, we’re not resting, by sharing photos of their team members modeling our 2019 #norest t-shirt which we will share on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook!
