Job Overview: This position will be responsible for performing LC-MS analysis on oligonucleotides, mRNA, and other components of gene therapy medicines. Additionally, you will play a role in advancing analytical development in separations, chemical, and biophysical areas.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize documented methods to conduct LC-MS analysis on synthetic oligonucleotides, mRNA, synthetic lipids, proteins, and other analytes.
- Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of analytical instruments, including HPLC, Mass Spec, and Capillary Electrophoresis.
- Collaborate in the advancement, refinement, and implementation of novel analytical methods, all while documenting and effectively communicating analytical outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, biology, biochemistry, engineering, or relevant degree
- 1-3 years of lab experience using HPLC and/or Mass Spectrometry
- Ability to interact with internal and external contacts at all levels of management
