Job Overview: This role involves monitoring and maintaining animal health in a research facility. It requires attention to detail and teamwork, and previous experience is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the health and welfare of animals in a research facility through monitoring and care
  • Carry out daily tasks including checking water bottles and cages, providing food and water, and cleaning cages
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with SOPs and quality assurance standards to ensure proper documentation and facility standards

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to perform routine euthanasia following the guidelines set by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA)
  • Preferred, but not required, 0-1 years of experience in animal care
