Job Overview: This experienced Senior Research Associate will design and perform cellular studies and analytical methods contributing to process development and production of iPSC cells.
Responsibilities:
- Design studies and oversee processes for the expansion and differentiation of stem cells
- Oversee the operations of the lab, including maintenance of lab supplies, monitoring of equipment, providing general lab support, and helping identify areas for improvement
- Write and review standard operating procedures and batch records for various processes
- Conduct Technical transfer of assays to production team and internal manufacturing, as needed
Qualifications:
- MS with 3+ or BS and 5+ years of experience in a cell biology, developmental biology or biomedical engineering environment.
- Strong aseptic technique and mammalian cell culture is required
- Knowledge of iPSC biology is also required
- Experience in cell bioreactor culture is ideal
- Knowledge in iPSC differentiation is a plus
