Scientist/ Senior Scientist Upstream Process Development (bioreactor) 1372277
Location: Manchester, NH (onsite)
Science/ Focus: Biologics
Job Overview: Responsible for developing, optimizing and performing experiments for biologic manufacturing processes, transferring a manual processes to scalable, automated, closed manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute flexible cell-based product manufacturing processes

Lead process development activities, including process gaps analysis, the definition of process design space, process development, and process validations

Contribute to the design of process development studies and support the drafting of production batch records, written technical reports and presentations
Requirements:
-
Advanced education with 2+ years of experience supporting process development/ tissue engineering or cell and gene therapy in industry

Strong mammalian cell culture techniques (adherent cell culture) using bioreactors

Experience with GMP and process development or DOE related to cell scale-up

Ability to lead in a cross-functional team setting and partner closely with internal and external team members

Exposure to characterization methods used in proteomics and gene expression, RT-PCR, ELISA, flow cytometry is a plus
