Job Overview: Accountable for identification, onboarding, oversight, and partnership of vendors supporting clinical studies in conjunction with contract management..
Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing procurement strategies for clinical services.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure effective alignment that support business requirements while managing quality, speed, cost, risk and ease-of-use.
- Coordinating request for proposal (RFP) process, bid defense meeting and provide bid analysis to teams.
- Contract lifecycle management including negotiation of clinical study contracts and change orders (scope of work, commercial terms, budget) through to close out.
- Partnering with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify, manage, escalate, and resolve issues related to supplier performance.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in business or related filed
- 7 – 10+ years Pharma/Biotech industry experience with extensive knowledge of vendor management and clinical operations
- Comprehensive experience with request for proposal process (RFP), evaluation/comparison of proposals, bid analysis
- Exceptional negotiation skills: use of problem-solving and out of the box thinking
