Job Scope & Purpose:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their drug discovery team to advance their RNA platform and participate in developing new innovative therapies for patients with serious genetic diseases. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative scientist to lead a key drug discovery group in their research organization and play a central role in applying the companies advanced RNA platform, based on their pioneering work with phosphorodiamidate morpholino oligomer (PMO's) and PMO-related chemistries. The successful candidate will lead a team of chemists focused on antisense oligonucleotide chemistry and discovery research on improved delivery of antisense oligonucleotides in their laboratories as well as manage collaborations and CROs as needed. The successful candidate will also make contributions to the patent and scientific literature, serves as an in-house antisense oligonucleotide and delivery chemistry expert and viewed as a leader in the field.
