Job Overview:
We seek a motivated and talented inhalation focused leader to advance a drug product development team and provide technical leadership and guide unique considerations for highly advanced inhaled therapeutics.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead a team responsible for the execution comprehensive development plans for inhalation products, in a cross-functional team setting
- Grow a capable team responsible for development of aerosol test methods for preclinical evaluation of candidate formulations and devices
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of skilled scientists and engineers
- Author and review critical regulatory documents and submissions
Qualifications:
- PhD with 10+ years or highly proficent BS/ MS with extremely strong scientific and engineering foundation to advance inhalation drug product development.
- Hands-on experience in pulmonary or nasal drug delivery including particle engineering techniques, aerosol science and devices preferred
- Strong foundation in relevant engineering sciences or physical chemistry of aerosols and other colloidal systems
- Proficient in managing a highly matrixed team and effectively advancing complex and rapidly moving initiatives with both internal and external resources.
