Job Scope & Purpose:
Our engaged and exclusive client is on the cusp of breakthrough developments within a new paradigm of inflammation, neuro and antidepressants while exploring a very exciting class of drugs, the psychedelics. This team has been founded by the foremost expert in the medicinal chemistry of psychedelics and currently has two Phase II trials on-going. Our partner is elucidating pathways pertaining to the 5-HT class of receptors and is showing significant promise not just in Neuro indications but inflammatory ailments as well.
This team is seeking a Director, Research to provide scientific leadership to the therapeutic development efforts in inflammatory and immunological diseases. This role will have responsibility for the overall strategy to evaluate and expand the knowledge of the immunomodulatory and therapeutically valuable activities of psychedelic drug class.
