Job Scope & Purpose:
Our Cambridge based client focused on novel genome editing technology is seeking an exceptional immunologist to join their ranks. This position is an excellent opportunity to help develop new gene editing and xenotransplantation products in an exciting and dynamic environment focused on cutting-edge molecular and cellular engineering technology. You will be a part of a team responsible for understanding the functional activity of our gene edits on cells of the immune system and how these activities translate to in vivo activity. Research will be focused on performing an array of in vitro and ex vivo analysis. This role will involve significant cell culture and will focus on the isolation and growing of primary cells. At a minimum, you should be proficient in techniques including mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, ELISA/multiplex analysis. Assay development and experience with human and/or NHP cells a plus.
