Job Scope & Purpose:
Our Boston based client, focused in synthetic biology and bacterial transformation is seeking a handful of molecular biology researchers to join their ever-growing ranks. At the heart of this role is high-throughput genetic engineering across multiple species. Their approaches are designed to scale 100-1000X via software and automation. They are seeking engineers to improve and scale existing technologies and define and develop the next set of synthesis technologies that will lie at the center of the foundry. The ideal candidate has led the development of a high-throughput biological process from development, validation through to successful operation at scale, most likely for DNA synthesis or sequencing. A demonstrated ability to evolve a process in response to changing technology and demands is essential.
