Job Scope & Purpose:
Our Lexington-based client is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of novel treatments for patients suffering from hematologic and musculoskeletal disorders with high unmet medical need. They are looking for a motivated team-player to join their research team! This position will play an important role in supporting discovery and development work for preclinical and clinical programs. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of cellular and molecular biology, as well as a broad technical knowledge of cell-based assays and other in vitro techniques. We are searching for an enthusiastic and fast learner who is comfortable working in both a team setting and independently on various aspects of therapeutic development.
Primary Job Requirements:
· BA/BS with 1+ years relevant research experience
· Capable of critically analyzing and discussing data
· Highly detail-oriented with excellent organization and record-keeping skills
· Broad knowledge of scientific principles and laboratory techniques
· Technical skills in aseptic cell culture, ELISA, qPCR, and immunoblotting is preferred
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
· Demonstrated ability to quickly pick up new skills and multi-task
· Self-motivated and team oriented
