Therapeutic Area: Rare Disease, Oncology
Job Overview: You will be responsible for the handling, formulation, characterization, storage and distribution of oligonucleotide compounds in lipid nanoparticle constructs.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing of raw materials required for oligonucleotide LNP preparation and formulation
- Formulation and Analysis of LNP samples for biological screening
- Performing and optimizing routine dialysis, TFF, and gel filtration methods to obtain quality material.
- Quantification of oligonucleotide LNP formulations, dynamic light scattering, fluorescence assays
Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree with 3+ years of experience in an industry or academic laboratory setting; or a Ph.D with hands-on experience in LNP Formulations.
- Experience formulating oligos/biologics in lipid nanoparticles using microfluidics, extrusion, etc
- Experience with nucleic acids and analytical chemistry
- High attention to detail with the ability to handle the pace of routine studies
- Experience with UV spectrophotometry, HPLC, and LCMS analysis a plus
