Job Scope & Purpose:
Our Cambridge based client-focused in gene therapy is seeking an exceptional research associate to join their ranks. In this role, you will work with the Research and CMC teams to develop and run assays in support of the portfolio of AAV-based programs. This important role contributes to the vector engineering and evaluation processes and calls for an established background in cell culture, a Molecular Biology skillset, and the ability to learn, develop, and optimize detailed protocols as the need arises. Successful candidates will emphasize understanding of project goals and creatively developing solutions. This is an opportunity to be one of the first ten employees in a rapidly growing, and scientifically significant ocular gene therapy startup looking to restore vision to patients who have lost it due to inherited retinal diseases.
