Scientist II, Cell Therapy Process Development 1338993
Location: Greater Boston, MA (Onsite)
Science/ Focus: Cell Therapy
Job Overview: This process development oriented Cell Therapy Scientist will be responsible for iPSC culture and differentiation scale up and will develop differentiation protocols and conditions for at scale manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute experiments to determine optimal iPSC differentiation conditions for cell differentiation, including growth factors and culture medium
- Transition iPSC differentiation conditions from research scale to small scale bioreactors
- Closed system process development under GMP/GLP conditions
- Interface with CDMO partners
Requirements:
- PhD in Biology, Biomedical Engineering with 1+ year of CMC oriented Cell Therapy PD experience or BS/MS and 5+ years industry experience
- Hands-on experience with iPSC culture and differentiation, ideally with T/NK cells
- Experienced with cell proliferation assays, cytotoxicity, and multi-color flow cytometry
- Knowledge of bioreactor systems and automation highly desired
