Scientist/ Sr. Scientist Cell Therapy Process Development 1327482
Location: Greater Boston Area (Hybrid/ Remote)
Science/ Focus: Cell and Gene Therapy
Job Overview:
Work cross functionally with internal and external teams to provide expertise in process development and process characterization for cell based therapies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead process development activities to gain in-depth knowledge of operational parameters and performance characteristics.
- Oversee technology transfer to external manufacturing partners and provide support in process scale-up.
- Conduct Design of Experiment studies to determine essential process parameters and establish their range.
- Support CMC regulatory submissions including IND, BLA
- Draft, review and approve SOP’s, risk assessments, specifications
Qualifications:
- BS/ MS or PhD with strong relevant experience in the Cell and Gene therapy space
- Previous experience working with cell therapy process development including cell characterization techniques
- Experience writing and contributing to CMC regulatory sections
