Job Overview: We are seeking a flexible Research Scientist to join an exciting start-up environment in Cambridge, MA!
Responsibilities:
- Protein expression (bacterial and mammalian platforms)
- Protein purification
- Basic protein analysis assays
- Mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays
- Consistent detailed experimental records and reports
- Generation of clear and accessible data presentations
- Training and guidance for junior team members
- Timely delivery of results and clear communications
Qualifications:
- PhD in a biology or chemistry focused field or a BS with 6 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Protein Purification techniques such as Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), SEC, SDS-PAGE
- Experience with Affinity Chromatography
- Experience with Column Chromatography
- Knowledge of Protein Characterization/ Expression
- Knowledge of Rodent models of disease is a plus
