Job Overview: The Process Chemistry Department is looking to hire at technical writer with proficiency in organic chemistry and/or chemical engineering who will be responsible for the generation of technical reports and other technical data to help support and facilitate the process development of clinical candidates
Responsibilities:
- Write scientific/technical reports for end users from information and data provided by chemists and engineers
- Write clearly and concisely to meet the needs of the target audience
- Manage and track status of reports
- Analyze information to accurately identify customer workflows
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry (prefer organic chemistry classes and/or laboratory experience) or Chemical Engineering preferred; minimally a bachelor’s degree in a physical or life science
- Advanced understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook and ChemDraw
- Experience as a technical writer preferred, but not necessary if the candidate has experience performing technical writing as part of previous work (this could just be someone with a lot of lab and or writing experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
