Job Scope & Purpose:
Our exclusive and engaged client is a well-funded biotech based in Framingham, MA, developing small molecule therapeutics with special focus on cancer metabolism, immuno-oncology, and autoimmunity. They are looking for a highly motivated and creative candidate, who is enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced biotech environment. This person will efficiently lead strategic and operational aspects of projects, ensuring progression of multiple parallel projects, leading cross-functional teams and acting as a thought leader and resource in Oncology across the organization.
This role is responsible for oversight and direction of drug discovery opportunities and translational development functions in support of all of our clients therapeutic candidates, including first-in-human enabling nonclinical studies (e.g., toxicology, DMPK) for late preclinical programs, and all other related activities in support of the portfolio, including clinical pharmacology, biomarkers, target indication rationale, and pharmacodynamics. Works closely with key internal and external stakeholders to enable the rapid and efficient assessment of all early discovery and development opportunities.
