Job Overview:  The incumbent will be collaborating with Chemistry, Biology, and Bioinformatics teams to perform experiments supporting the progression of projects from hits to development candidates, with a focus on hands-on laboratory work, molecular biology techniques, and cell-based activity assays.
Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct and analyze cell-based assays to evaluate the activity of oligonucleotides, implementing improvements as necessary.
• Perform lead identification screening for the oligonucleotide platform, contributing to the advancement of potential candidates.
• Collaborate with company partners and CROs in managing collaborations, ensuring effective communication and regular project updates to team members and stakeholders.

• MS in biochemistry, molecular biology or cell biology with > 1-2 years post-grad experience, or a B.S. with > 3-4 years post-grad laboratory experience.
• Proficient in cell transfection, RNA processing, RT-PCR, B-DNA, ELISAs, and luciferase-based assays, demonstrating expertise in molecular biology techniques.
• Skilled in mammalian cell culture, including both cell lines and primary cells, with the ability to develop and optimize cell-based assays.
• Experience working with synthetic nucleic acids such as siRNA and mRNA, showcasing proficiency in working with synthetic nucleic acids.
