Job Overview: A pivotal executive role, the Vice President, Head of Pharmacovigilance leads global drug safety strategy and operations for RNA-based therapeutics, ensuring regulatory compliance, risk management, and cross-functional alignment to support patient safety and successful product development.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Lead global pharmacovigilance strategy aligned with company and regulatory standards
• Ensure compliance with global safety regulations and oversee reporting and risk plans
• Guide benefit-risk assessments, with focus on RNA-based therapeutics
• Collaborate across teams to integrate safety into program strategy
• Oversee safety content for global regulatory submissions
• Manage and mentor a high-performing pharmacovigilance team
• Enhance PV systems with scalable, compliant infrastructure

Primary Job Requirements:

• Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD) in a relevant scientific field
• 15+ years of pharmacovigilance experience in biopharma
• Deep knowledge of global regulatory standards and authorities
• Proven executive leadership in drug safety and risk management
• Expertise in neurology safety profiles and therapeutic areas
• Hands-on experience leading major regulatory submissions
• Strong agency interaction experience, including FDA/EMA negotiations
• Skilled communicator with a track record of shaping safety strategy
• Proficient in managing safety databases and PV technology systems
