Manager, Compensation Projects

Cambridge, MA

We’re seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Compensation Projects Manager (Contractor) to support key initiatives across compensation planning, performance management, and talent acquisition. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, experience with compensation systems, and a passion for driving employee engagement through thoughtful rewards strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage configuration and execution of annual compensation cycles
  • Deliver training and audit recommendations for accuracy and compliance
  • Support performance calibration and translate ratings into compensation outcomes
  • Lead planning and logistics for year-end awards
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on offer development and market alignment
  • Participate in compensation surveys and manage benchmarking data

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 4+ years of experience in compensation or HR operations
  • Proficiency with tools like Oracle, Power BI, and compensation benchmarking platforms
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
