Computational Biology Associate

 Computational Biology Associate (3-Month Contract)

We’re looking for a hands-on Computational Biology Associate to support our client for a three-month engagement. This role involves maintaining NGS analysis pipelines, managing large-scale genomic datasets, and ensuring code and documentation are version-controlled via GitHub.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage GitHub repositories with clear documentation
  • Maintain pipelines for WGS, bulk RNA-seq, and single-cell RNA-seq
  • Curate and validate genomic and transcriptomic datasets
  • Coordinate data transfers via AWS S3 and SFTP
  • Collaborate with team members on planning and troubleshooting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience with NGS pipelines
  • Proficient in Git/GitHub, Python, R, and Bash
  • Experience with AWS S3 and cloud-based data workflows
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
